California: I am seeking an annulment of a 3-week marriage that went sour because of fraud, was not consumated and we did not live together.

While the easy way out is to get a "summary dissolution", I would like to explore an "annulment" as I do have sufficient grounds to make ther marriage "voidable".

Questions
1) Do I need to be represented by an attorney and do I have to be present in person if I am represented ?
2) What is the procedure like ? Do I have to present a written case, or argue out my case ?

Questions

MY RESPONSE: No and yes.

2) What is the procedure like ? Do I have to present a written case, or argue out my case ?

MY RESPONSE: The procedure is like a roller coaster ride that terminates into a brick wall, at the top of the loop, and then you fall. Yes, if you do it yourself. There are legal papers, forms, and briefs that need to be filed in order to explain to the court all of your grounds, and set forth your arguments and case law, for an annulment.

Good luck.
