What is the name of your state? Arizona
there are 3 parties on the deed, two are responsible for the mortgage and the 3rd signed a quick claim deed. since the signing the person has left the home and verbally agreed to get off the deed. We are unable to reach this person to meet and sign off on the Quit Claim Deed. How do we go about taking this person off when they won't respond? Help!

Quick Claim Deed

Quick Claim Deed - Arizona:

The person was involved with saving money as the down payment for building this house. He could not be put on the mortgage because of his poor credit standing. So we agreed to at least make him feel that he would be a part of the whole deal.

Within the first year he decided to not contribute anymore to the mortgage and moved out. This is when he verbally agreed that he would sign the quick claim deed.

Unfortunately, he refuses to speak to us or even have any contact with us. That is why the problem exists. How to get him off the deed? We are looking at refinancing and need to do this ASAP!

**A: you have never once stated that this person is on the deed and how the person got on the deed. In any case, you have to file partition. Hire an attorney.
