Quit Claim Deed My Home?

What is the name of your state? California

I am being sued by this collection agency I had a summons, responded the whole nine. Just waiting for a court date.

Question: If the judgement is against me can a lien be placed on my home if I quick deeded it to my mother years ago (she pays the notes every month and lives in the home). I'm not sure if the quick deed was done right. The loan is in my name and my two sister's name. My mom obtained some papers had me and my two sisters sign it and had it notorized. Is this a Quit Claim Deed? If not I'm in trouble.

Thanks for the advice. Can anyone tell me if a quitclaim deed is more that just having papers notorized? Would you have to present the papers to someone like the mortgage company?
