What is the name of your state? Texas

Recently the apartment building I was living in caught on fire. My car was parked out in front of the apartment that burned. It is totalled. Some people have told me that the apartment's insurance on the building might cover my car to. Is this true? I wouldn't think so, but I thought I would ask.

By the way, I had insurance, but only basic liability, no comp or collision.
