What is the name of your state? INDIANA

We purchased a used car at a small dealership on Friday, I was left stranded in it on Saturday, less than 24 hours after purchasing it (cash) Is there some sort of law that protects us to where we can get our money back if we want within a time period?

We actually towed the car to the dealership last night and put a note under the door stating we would return today to collect the cash paid for it....??? They may let it go at that -- I just wanted any input.

Thanks!

There is no law requiring them to do so, unless they actively concealed a known problem which was the cause of the breakdown, and even then, you'd have to prove it in court to be entitled to your money back.

What did your mechanic say when he inspected the car before you bought it?
