What is the name of your state? IL

My chapter 7 has been closed since the middle of January and I was wondering if we gained more bills during the time my bankrupcty case was still open (medical due to my cancer) are we able to re-open the case and add those bills? I am as well a little worried becuase a few people (a few meaning like 2) stated if the courts were to find out that you havent paid some of your bills while your case was open, they would re-open your case and think twice about it:confused: Is this true? My dear friend stated do not listen to "other people" as they are usually wrong. Your case is closed and done with, so whatever bills you included are discharged but others you have not included will still survive after the bankrutpcy. Is she right on this? Yeah, I know, not the best thing to have owing bills again after your bankruptcy but I re-affirmed some things and since my cancer has been active again, its taken a little toll working a 40 hour work week. Any thoughts would be helpful, thanks.

Okay, so do the same thing, but would there be any effect on the case since the case has already been discharged? Meaning, if the bills havent been paid for a while, will they re-open my case and think twice about it? During the last thread the case was open... Also, I am trying to understand how the other thread relates. That was more along the lines of a bank account question. Or are you telling me to just do the same thing?

Finally figured out a easier way to ask my question:p

Any bills after a closed bankrupcty is obviously new bills, but does it have a affect on your already closed bankruptcy case?

What a dumb*** I am:rolleyes: thanks for any response

Complete hogwash, your friend is correct, you case is OVER.

Post-petition debts incurred after you file will have to be paid, they can't be added. Keeping up with post-petition debt is your problem. While you're not supposed to be incurring new debt while in bankruptcy, medical bills are not exactly on the same level as spending sprees.
