undefinedWhat is the name of your state?
i live in florida and my question is i have a lot of credit card dedt all well overdue now my question is i have a s corp business but all these cards were open in my name with my s/s # not my company so if i opt not to go bankrupt and just let these bills go to charg off status but i quit claim deed to my wife because my home is in my name only! can anyone of these clc companys put a lein on my home ?
please help

I am not sure that this would get rid of your marital interest in the land.

**A: no, they would not be able to put a lien on your home because you would not have title to the home due to the quit claim deed. The bad news is that they can sue you and claim fraudulent transfer of assets. And they can do this even if you file BK.
