I quit claim my homes to these RE investors. Can i still get screwd with the mortgage? What can i do to prevent getting screwd....Can anyone please help me?What is the name of your state?

This is a common scam.

You are still liable for paying the mortgage.

Maybe you SHOULD have researched whether you would still be liable for the mortgage you agreed to, after a quit claim, BEFORE you granted one. I can't believe so many people just go deeding off their properties while they leave the mortgage open!

ONLY thing you can do to get rid of the mortgage and make sure it doesn't mess up your credit is pay it off, or bring the investors a qualified buyer who they agree to buy it from who can get a mortgage to pay it off!

Hopefully you got enough money for the quit claim deeds to pay off your mortgages. Because if you read your mortgage papers you will likely discover that reassigning your rights for property used as collateral, typically makes the loans immediately due and payable.
