(California) I need to have my soon-to-be ex-wife sign a quit claim on my house so I can get a HELOC and complete the divorce. My mortgage does not list her name, so no problem there (?) I haven't a clue how to do. (My expensive attorney thinks the mortgage company should do it, they think the attorney should). Can anybody out there help? Thanks in advance.
