What is the name of your state? california
my god father is 80 years old,he filed bancruptcy a few years ago before doing so he signed a quitclaim deed to his home and property to his great grandson,whom got killed, my godfather has always been the only one paying the taxes on this property and still does how does he get it returned to his name? he now lives in mississippi with me and can't make to many trips back to california at his age any info greatly appreciated

*** If the quit claim deed was recorded with the county, your godfather has NO rights to claim ownership of the property. The now deceased great-grandson's estate is the owner of the property and the property would have to go through probate and be distributed to HIS benficiaries.

One of the 'benefits' that he got when he committed fraud by transferring ownership to hide the property during his bankruptcy!!
I just love it when these scammers have their crap backfire on them!!!
