What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas
I'm in the "investigating stage" of placing my house for raffle on-line. If I proceed, I want no wiggle room for potential legal issues. Where do I go from here?

And then to a better idea.

While this sounds great, there have been several of these over the last 5 years and the vast majority doesn't break even for the value of the house... and you end up returning money to people that are really hacked off... and then you are out advertising costs and associated legal fees.

Because you would, of course, say that unless X number of tickets are sold the raffle won't continue, right?
