In California, is there a rent increase limit? Is there different laws rent increases dealing with renting a house or an apartment? Thank you.

I think SF has rent control, but I don't know any details.

LA rent control doesn't cover houses.

A new CA state law says that rent increases of more than 10% must have 60 days notice, not 30. But a 10% rent increase would probably be for non-rent-controlled properties.
