We purchased a chicken nugget happy meal from McDonald's in Indiana and feed it two our 2 year old son. He ate only one nugget. Six hours later I discovered the remaining nuggets are completely RAW! Do we have a case? He is not sick as of yet. I understand it can take 1-3 days to become ill. I am a nervous reck watching and waiting....

I went back to the McDonalds and showed the remaining raw chicken nuggets to the manager. She offered to give me a refund. I have not accepted the refund as of yet. It is not the money I am worried about. It is the fact that my son could be exposed to life threatening bacteria. How is it that McDonald's can get away with putting my baby at such risk without being held responsible?
My son appears to be fine. We are very lucky. I feel as though McDonald's is neglagent for potentialy harming him by serving raw poultry.

Have you gone back to the McDonalds and talked to the manager? That would be the first logical step. It may be possible that they will pay to have your son examined by a doctor. Unless your son becomes ill (which would happen within hours) you really do not have case against McDonalds. At the most you will get an apology and some free food. Yummm.

This gives real definition to the term fast food and a McDonald's crappy meal.
Contat your pediatrician and see what he/she recommends.
