re: Validation letter to CA
What is the name of your state?
CA.
Had to fire off a "Validation of Debt" letter to a collection agency.
Other than stalling for more time... what else can this letter do for me? I checked my credit report & saw that (yes) the OC did "charge off" the debt & (possibly) sold it to this CA.
Currently I've just begun a new career (not a regular paycheck, but commission based). So it will still be several months before I receive any income.
Basically I'm trying to make a last attempt to avoid CH7. Prayin' I'll be able to pull it out @ the last minute.
