What is the name of your state? NJ I am executrix of mothers will. Have only one brother who has all his life lived with mom in her home. Is there a time limited on the reading of will? Must it be read by a lawyer or surrogates office? What is the name of your state?

There's usually a time limit on filing the will with the courthouse. Send your brother a copy, preferrably certified copy, of the will. You can obtain a certified copy from the courthouse.

A formal reading of the will is not normally done nowadays, except mainly on TV but not in real life.

My response:

Except on planet "Dandy Dufus" - - right Dandy?
