What is the name of your state? Michigan
I currently have had some financial issue causing my mortgage payments to be behind. A real-estate agent who told me that she was told by VA to do an appraisal of my property has contacted me. I have contacted VA and they say that they did not ask for an appraisal. This agent was very determine, she called on the phone at home and at work with an attitude that I need to let her do an appraisal. She even came to the house. I have found out that not only did VA did not request her to do an appraisal but she does not do appraisals she is only a real-estate agent. Is there any legal recourse that I can take? I have several voice messages from her stating that she was working for VA.

You can turn her in to the local board of realtors, her own broker etc. But if you are thinking monetarily what are your damages?

My thought is that she is part of the pre-foreclosure process and is suppose to do a BPO on the property. However, she is not suppose to be talking to the current owner.
