In IL, can an ex-wife successfully sue for a distribution of the marital home if the final decree did not provide a split of this major asset? The final decree did not address this and it has been over 30 days since the order was given.

The home was originally in joint tenancy, but by the time the case came to trial the ex-husband had taken out a second mortgage to erase the equity that she was to receive (50%). This amounted to about $16,000. In addition, the wife had contributed to the maintenance and beautification of the residence.
