Seller signed a contract to sell a house about 8 days ago. The buyer signed it about 3 days ago but all the financing and closing needs to be done. The Seller no longer wants to sell the house atleast under the terms of this contract due to the fact that she does not believe that her interests have been served by her real estate agent and is not able to move in time under the terms of the contract. Does the seller have any rights to back out and void the contract and is there a time period to do so?

My response:

Where has your real estate attorney been throughout this process?

Under normal circumstances concerning contracts in general, your attorney would writer her a very nice letter which would inform her of her duties to you under the contract, her breach of the contract, and your rights to sue her for "specific performance" under the contract.
