Problem: Realtor/owner of house, has a contract to sell for specified price, house was being refurbished. When house was near completion, realtor claimed the contract had expired, he had liens on the property, & needed $10,000 more. Buyer saw lawyer, no expiration date, only original lien, & tried to proceed with the closing, inspection etc. Realtor stalled for time, finally allowed inspection, then filed for bankruptcy. Has continued to try to sell the house, & now Bankruptcy trustee, says the realtor may try to get the fair market price for property in order to pay debtors. Truly believe realtor is committing fraud, & bankruptcy is a farce to somehow enable him to sell the house for more money. Have written realty assoc, no response yet, Lawyer went on vacation, & loan time (already extended)is running out. Please help!!!!
