I was stopped for a red light an was rear ended causing my car to hit the car in front of me. (It was just a bump) Now the lead car is suing me an the car that hit me. Am I legally responsible. She is claiming permenant bodily damage an disfigurement. Her husband is also suing for lost services of his wife. Again it was just a bump

You have run in to a common problem. Many attorneys are afraid to take the chance of just naming the car behind you. What if the front car says I felt a crash, then I felt a second crash? That puts the liability on you. What if the car behind you says first you hit the front car and then he hit you? Liability on you.

The advantage of your auto liability policy is that they will pay the cost of attorneys fees to defend you. They will know how to handle this.
