What is the name of your state? New Hampshire

Should I get a different lawyer and if so will he charge me for leaving
Car accident occurred in New Hampshire. I was rear ended in 2016 on the highway in Concord on my way to work. I worked for NHH state psych hospital. I was injured. I ran out of FMLA and lost my position. Due to injury. All injuries and complications related to accident are 2 cervical herniated discs with future injections 5 months physical therapy Concussion Severe ptsd psych evaluation performed connected to accident Post traumatic fibromyalgia with two Rheumatologist connecting to injury from accident Currently undergoing tests for post concussion syndrome due to ongoing symptoms and interference of daily life by a psychologist My lawyer does not keep me updated on documentation. He said he filed to stop statute of Limitations it has not sent me anything indicating that he filed. He does not send me any information regarding my medical documentation being received by the insurance company I am suing He just informed me that my case will not have a court date for 1-2 years After I have pleaded with him for help as I have not been able to work for three years now. I have no way of providing for my 3 children or myself. I became homeless I lost my car and now live with my parents. I am currently in the process of filing for SSDI. Complete nightmare and I feel like my lawyer is not doing what he should.

Please keep in mind that I lost my job due to a car accident. I am in the middle of testing for Post concussion syndrome. My brain does not work the way that it used too.

What I am wondering is, is if I should find another lawyer.

Current lawyer does not communicate well with me.

See you can use the return key.

How are you trying to communicate with your lawyer? Phone, in person, etc.

How exactly is there "interference of daily life by a psychologist"?

I copied and posted what was an original paragraph and that was the way it posted on here.

I mostly have had to communicate through conference calls and email.

I have documentation from several specialists indicating that I have severe complications caused by the injury I sustained in an MVA.

Sit down and write a well thought out (and grammatically correct) letter to your lawyer detailing your concerns with how your case is being handled.

Feel free to run it by this forum before you send it.

You didn't answer the second question.

How exactly is there "interference of daily life by a psychologist"?

It is important that you verify that your attorney has filed a claim. For personal injury suits, the statute of limitations (the time within which you must file a suit) is 3 years from the date of the accident/injury.

You can check on the case filing by contacting the court if you can't reach your attorney. You can make an appointment to meet with your attorney to discuss the status of your case. You can fire your current attorney if he is not responding to your queries and hire a new attorney who is more responsive to your needs.
