I got married yesterday in Virginia, through a local justice of the peace. I live in West Virginia and the groom lives in Maryland. What state should I file for an annulment in? What reasons are valid for each state? Is duress a valid reason? Thanks

Not unless he had a gun to your back or was holding a family member or friend hostage.

If you went willingly to the JOP and willingly said 'I do' then there is no duress..
