What is the name of your state? Colorado

I have a dispute with my landlord and in retaliation, I believe, he has said he would have the police search the home, while I was at work. I don't have proof of this, but my question is, Can police search a home based solely on a landlords request or accusation? I am going to move out soon but in the meantime I don't want him causing anymore aggrevation than is necessary.

If the landlord knows, or has a STRONG reason to suspect that illegal activity is occurring in the property, yes.
I had a tenant one-time who complained about a fluorescent light that would not come on in the kitchen. While investigating, I found a mirror on top of the refrigerator with cocaine residue on it. The tenant and her boyfriend were arrested the next day after I escorted the police on the premises.

I am going to move out soon but in the meantime I don't want him causing anymore aggrevation than is necessary.
Then make sure that you don't have anything illegal on the premises.
