What is the name of your state? Virginia

I work for the Federal Government for 23 years. I am also a USAF Veteran, and I am 100% Permanent and Total (P&T) Disabled. I was on an RA (5 days a week) since Sept 2022 that expired on 17 April 2025. Just a synopsis of my situation, I had Cancer, which I ended up having surgery, total hysterectomy and the treatment plan was to do chemotherapy. I am still experiencing some of the side effects post chemotherapy e.g., neuropathy, cognitive issues, numbness, fatigue, alopecia, loss of balance, anxiety, dizziness, nausea, leg cramps and cannot walk or stand for long period of time. I did not ask/modify the RA because at that time everyone in the workplace was able to Telework on Mon & Fri and had to be in the office just three days a week. Now with the new administration the policy has changed for Bargaining Unit Workers (BUW) to have to come in five days a week no more Telework (TW) with the exception of inclement weather or a special situation you could request Situational Telework (TS). On the 11th of April I went to the Emergency Room for the pain I was having, and their recommendation was for me was to contact my Primary Care doctor to be seen by a Cardiologist and possibly be given a Holter Monitor and Pulmonologist. My question is, can I request a new RA based on the current situation and some of the past history ailments from post chemo? I would like to try to start with working in the office in increments (1. 2 or 3 days and then build up to five days). Can you assist with a sample letter/email draft I can send to my Supervisor and EEO representative. Also, do I need to fill out the “DLA Form 1867 - Confirmation of Request for Reasonable Accommodation?”

You can request. But if your real question is can you get the accommodation, I doubt that anybody here has the ability to predict.

Not allowed to do that here. Check out the resources in the following search results.

For some reason I cannot view the form but here are instructions for requesting a Reasonable Accommodation which says you'll be asked to fill it out at some point. Probably a good idea to use it up front as a way to lay out specific information.
