About a year and a half ago i took a rebate of $400 from a computer company.
In order to recieve the rebate i had to sign up with and Internet Service Provier
and not cancel my service for a period of 3 years, or i would have to pay
the $400 back..
i have a year and a half left of service to fulfill the agreement of 3 years.
last week the internet service provider cancelled my service, because of a mistake on there part.
as of right now i do not have service with them, and they are contacting the rebate office to insure that i do not get billed the $400, because it was not my fault that i got cancelled.

after they complete the process of insuring that i do not get billed, they are
probably going to want me to continue my service with them and complete the 3 years.

my question is being that the cancelation was not on my part do i have to sign back up with them and complete the 3 years or
can i walk away and keep my $400.
