I am leasing a 2001 Ford Taurus. So far there are 5 recall notices on this vehicle. Can I get out of this lease based on the recall record of this vehicle?

Not a chance. Recalls to repair vehicles do not provide exceptions for termination of a lease. Neither do they for any other type of financing.

You may attempt to talk the dealer into an early out in exchange for another vehicle under a new lease. However, most likely won't happen. And if it where, your not going to be happy with the BALLOON payment for the early out.
