What is the name of your state? Massachusetts

I am on SSDI and (even though she is in a wheelchair) my spouse is not. We are thinking of selling our house and getting one that is more adaptable to her disability. I understand that I am allowed only $2,000 in equity of my own in the bank. Is she allowed more so that my SSDI benefits would not be affected? Thanks.

I agree with the other posted. SSDI is not based on assets and income. You could win the lottery and still receive SSDI payments. You are fine if you sell your house.
