My 26-year-old daughter awoke in her bed, confused and unable to speak. She went to a local hospitals family medical facility on Sunday and had to write out in her problems on a piece of paper, the doctor told her there was nothing wrong with her and it was probably stress. Her symptoms persisted, and she returned the next day to the same facility and was seen by another doctor and he recognized the symptoms and signs of the stroke and took immediate action. I suspect that if the first doctor had recognized her stroke and gave her immediate attention some or all of her problems would not exist today. Is it possible to sue the hospitals family medical facility for not providing the immediate attention she so desperately needed until a day after she went there for help and what kind of proof would be needed to make a case?
