What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Alabama
I'm looking to teach English in South Korea. They require a federal criminal background check clear of alcohol, illegal substance, or theft charges.
When I was 13 years old, I plead guilty to accessory to vandalism (or something of that nature) and had the record sealed as a first time offender. A year later I plead guilty to misdemeanor theft. My question is, if I request my own criminal background check from the federal government to send to my employer in Korea, will these offenses show up?
Thanks!
