What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? TEXAS

We purchased a travel trailer for $2000. The man never delivered it and when we went to his home, it was trashed. He took the money and bought a vehicle instead. When he found out we were suing him and he was going to jail, he signed the vehicle over to his father.
Now, when we go to court and if we win, is there a way to get that vehicle he purchased with stolen funds back from his father so we can regain any of our money?
He has NO other assets to his name and he's still in jail.

The vehicle is exempt from seizure.

ETA: Be careful about accusing this guy of "stealing" your money. You have no proof that a crime occurred, so defaming the guy isn't the smartest thing to do.

I'm pretty confident that based on what the OP stated in his post, there will be no defamation suit against the OP. :)

The point is that one should avoid accusing others of a crime where none occurred. Heck, the guy might be in jail for a month and then come out and pursue a case agains the OP.
