What is the name of your state? California

I have been evicted from a retail space by way of judgement from the court and was in the process of moving and due to unforseen circumstances on my part was unable to move all of my belongings out before the sherriff came and collected the keys which i turned over to him without argument. Now, my landlord is refusing to answer my calls. I have also been told by someone that my landlord has no intention of allowing me to finish moving my property out.
Can my landlord actually keep my belongings? And if not, how do I go about recovering them? I believe time is critical here so any help would be greatly appreciated.

i was kind of hoping to somehow recover the rest of my property if possible as it is related to running my company.
