What is the name of your state? Maryland
I owned two vehicles, same year and same value. Car #1 had a lien on it through a finance company. I decided to sell car #1 but needed to have the lien removed so I asked to have the lien transfered to car #2. The only way they would do this was to refinance the entire amount which ended up costing me another $2,500. I had no choice as I needed to sell the first car. Can they legally do this?
