What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Fl.
My husband has very bad credit, he has had liens on the title of our home. I had to pay off the liens in order to refinance the house in my name only.
Does he have to be in the title. When I go for closing.

...the deed is in both our name, but when I refinance does he have to be on the deed....

It sounds like he already is; if you want a loan just in your name, you need to talk to your lender about what your state requires in such a situation.
