I lease an apartment in Denver, Colorado. On April 18th, I reported that my refrigerator was broken. My landlord stopped by for less than a minute and looked at it. I have called her every day since, it is now April 29th. She returned two of my phone calls and told me that her repair man would get in touch with me. He has not. I am going out of town in two days and my rent is also due. I had a house sitter to take care of my cat, but now I will have to leave her at the vet. Also, I have had to throw out all refrigerated groceries and eat out everyday. Do I have any rights to pro rate my rent for the days I have not had refrigeration, due to the money I have lost?
