Got a notice from arizona (where i lived for 6 weeks in '99) of an "OMB statement for recipients" showing my state refund of $249 for that period. Apparently they think that was too great a refund? but am not sure what to do with this notice or why they sent it. The total state tax was $276 withheld and according to my tax preparer, i only owed $67 of that, hence the refund. What gives? Was the refund too great, or was my preparer amiss?
