To Whom It May Concern

On Friday, May 12, 2017, I was assaulted at school (I am in high school). I did not hit back but I was shoved by a student after a heated verbal altercation. I was having some pain so I was taken to the school nurse (after about 5 minutes of the teacher REFUSING to allow me to, knowing I was in pain) and an accident report was filled out. My parents were notified that I had been to see said nurse, but at the time of this question (the 14th of May) my parents have STILL not been notified that the other student shoved me. I have had issues with bullying with this whole school corporation for years and nothing has ever been done. Somewhere around 20 students witnessed the teacher's refusal. Would it be possible to bring charges against the school for this?

Your parents should address the issue with the school principal. If that does not get them a satisfactory response, then they need to address it with the school superintendent.

You had an altercation with a student on Friday and you believe that the school should have conducted and concluded their investigation into the matter by now (over the weekend)?

I suggest you give the school a little bit more time. There does not appear to be any legal action to consider right now against anyone or any entity.

I am sorry you are being bullied. You should look to your friends and the school counselors for help in handling the bullies at your school. Good luck.

...at the time of this question (the 14th of May) my parents have STILL not been notified that the other student shoved me.
I have to assume that you've spoken to your parents about this, so your parents have, in fact, been informed of this matter.
