Okay, I forgot to state that he was born 12-12-99 and was living with his mother and grandmother. Her mother kicked her out of the house and would not let her take her son with her, This was before she filed anything. Can we use that against her? We went over there with a cop and she had no papers on him and the cop would not let us take him out of the house, he didn't know what to do so he got CPS involved and the grandmother lied to the cop and CPS and told them that we were taking to a home that had no electricity or water. That was not true either I have a witness on that because we were taking him to my (Chris') dad's house. Can I also use that against her? I don't know what to do because everyone is treating us like children and I can't afford an attorney but we love our son and we want him to live with us and be a family.

Thank you and wish me luck!!!

Contact Legal Aid in your area, also take the childs birth certificate and your identification and go pick the child up. Grandmother has no rights at this point.
