Good Afternoon everyone
I am currently seeking some advice on whether to proceed with a law suit against my landlord and my former employer. In Jan of 06 I was called into my supervisor's office and was informed I needed to resign due to the fact that my landlord had given some private information concerning my monthly lease payment. My landlord stated that I had not paid Dec of 05, payment. However, I paid in cash more than the regular payment but I did not ask for a receipt. I asked my supervisor why this was brought to his attention, and I was not given a reason. Now, let me back up just a moment. My supervisor had only been with our company less than 6 months, I had been with the company 3 years and 5 months. I later found out after I had resigned that the whole thing was a set-up because he felt that he would not be in-charge if I were still employed with the company. So from the moment he became employed, he set out to get rid of me, and began to research and dig into my personal affairs. What I would like to know is, do I have a case that would hold up in court, if I filed suit? Please help as soon as possible.
Thank You
