What is the name of your state? California
I'm the non-custodial parent and would like to relocate out of state for employment purposes.(only 5 hours away)
Right now my visitation is every other weekend and I would still like to keep it this way plus have more time with my child during the summer.
What affects could this have on the visitation with my child in the eyes of the court?

You are the one moving away....if you are prepared to provide all of the transportation for weekend visitation you have a decent shot at keeping that.

Whether or not you can get more summer visitation depents on a whole host of factors.

My response:

Now, LdiJ, since you insist on responding to California threads, despite the fact that you're only familiar with Indiana law, do you want to try answering this gentleman's questions correctly, or shall I embarrass you in front of this writer and the rest of the readers?

What time are you currently assigned in the court order for summer visitation?
