What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas.

There was a thread here about this guy in Texas filing some slip of paper with the county office or something and possessing this house and claiming ownership. As most here already knew would happen, he was booted from the home. Adverse possession takes time, not a slip of paper.

Yah I saw that one too when I got home from work this morning. LOL now I wonder if any screening firms are gonna pick up the story or how it will impact his future rentability?
