I have a question. I have been working with my ex husband on moving out of state with my child for 4 months now. We have negotiating and working back and forth on an agreement. I have to leave the state in 2 weeks, we have sold our house, and since my ex told me that this would be o.k., my husband now has accepted the job offer. On Monday I filed to petition the courts for a motion for removal, I have sent the paperwork to him certified mail. Question to you, what happens if he doesn't show up? He has a history of not getting certified mail if he doesn't know what it is. Also would it be better if he didn't show up? Any answers would be appreciated.
