What is the name of your state?PA
I was named executor with my sister on my mother's will. I do not want this responsibility. How do I remove myself as an executor of the estate?

**A: execute yourself or have the probate attorney file a petition.

Go to the courthouse, office of registry of wills, and ask for a renunciation form.
Complete it in front of the clerk who gave it to you and hand it back to her.
