Situation:
father is deceased and buried at a cemetery in Pennsylvania. our mother is living but purchased plot next to his and had a headstone placed next to his.

problem:
all the surviving children (4) do not wish to have her site near our father's let alone next to it. we wish to have her headstone removed.

we are willing to pay for the plot and any expenses involved in removing it.

what are our recourses??

I AM ALWAYS LIABLE

My response:

None. The plot was, I'm sure, paid for by your mother. Therefore, it's her land and it's her personal property; i.e., the headstone.

You siblings have no standing in law, or in equity, to do anything about it.
