What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas
My boyfriend of 10 years and I have split up as of Sept 13, 2008. I have ask numerous times for him to remove his belongings. What legal right do I have? I filed domestic abuse charges against him and do not want this to go on any longer. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

He has no real property and did not pay rent for most of the year he lived in my mothers rent house.

Remove his belongings from WHERE??
If you mean a communal home in both names (or with mutual rights), then he has just as much right to have his 'stuff' there as you do.

I filed domestic abuse charges against him and do not want this to go on any longer.
Then I would suggest you talk with a good local attorney. He can review your relationship and see whether you are married or not (Texas allows 'informal marriages' in some cases). If you are married, you will have to go through the whole divorce route. If not married and if he has no inherent 'right of possession' to the property, the attorney can help you process an 'unlawful detainer' (eviction) suit.
