Recently rent an apartment in Colorado. Did not pay rent for July through October. Nothing was said and no notices given until October. Moved out of the apartment on October 31. Am I responsible for rent payments July through September and also November and December? I know I am at least responsible for the month of October when noticed was received.

Of course you are responsible for all the rent.....

and hopefully you didnt SPEND all that booty on yourself, and have some of it waiting to hire a lawyer when they find you and sue you.

Also some states have a stale rent law, where if the landlord doesnt come after you say in 3 months he loses all rights to colect back rent.

Also did you break a lease? then you are liable till they re rent it or the lease ends..If the lease ended on October 31st and you oved then you still are entitiled to your security back...

Do you still have the notice, did it say pay the moneee or leave?
Was it fron a court did you have a court date? were you found in default....???? more answers needed

had a demand for rent or pocession given in October. Left instead of paying the rent. Never had a court date or summons given. Never legally evicted. Where do I find out if Colorado has a stale rent law?
