california. i have several apartment buildings where rental losses occurred, due to several reasons. in some cases due to our vacating the tenants; in some where the tenants simply did not pay; in some where the unit simply remained vacant for certain periods of time. question: does anyone have any experience, or book knowledge on this issue? i am making a claim but want to cover myself before making the claim. these losses are true losses but i wonder if eny extraneous issues might exist that would hinder the likelihood of collecting.
