What is the name of your state? Ohio

I rent a trailer home in a small town in Ohio. Yesturday, my carport fell onto my car. Yes, it did have snow and ice on it. It also was put up with only 1 inch screws and did not slant at all to let the snow and ice fall from it. Also, when my landlord had someone remove the carport from my car, the carport broke and fell on my car a second time. Now my landlord is telling me that his homeowners insurance is not going to pay one red cent for the damages done to my car. And that he isn't either because it " wasn't his fault". I just need a little advice on this. I have no idea where to go from here. We don't have all the money in the world to replace my vehicle. I am a stay at home mom to a two year old baby boy, and my husband works but, with no college education, he doesn't make much. I am currently attending an at home college, but, that doesn't pay any bills yet. Any advice that anyone could give me would be great. I am very appreciative. Thanks, in advance.
