Michigan - 15 rentals all before marriage, what happens when divorced (equtiy wise)?

Bought our house 2 months before married, down paymnet came from a rental sale (25,000). House has 100,000 in equity, what happens when divorced?

Her wedding ring worth 10,000, what happens when divorced?

Can I throw her out, or should I move out now while the divorce is in progress?

If I move out should I continue to pay all the bills (mortgage, utility, HER CAR), will I get money back for paying the bills while not living there in the settlement?

She has nor ever had a job since we were married, can I block her from the bank accounts if her name is on them, so that she does not bleed me dry?

Needless to say she may be bitter.

I own my own company, what will she get of my company?

Thank you

My response:

You really need to have a sit-down discussion with your own, local, attorney in this matter. While your questions are very good, it would be a near impossible task to do you any justice with your questions on a Bulletin Board. You see, each question that you have impacts on the question and answer to the next, which would engender even more questions.

In order to respond to you correctly, we'd need to see all of the documents you have (which is impossible) and far more explanation than you've given.

Suffice it to say, a Bulletin Board is severely limited by such complicated issues.

Please make an appointment with a Family Law attorney to go over and review everything in detail.

Thank you very much for writing.
