What is the name of your state? california.

I have an apartment for rent. I am showing it to a military service person. He saids he is on a ship a lot of the time. He said he does not have any credit history.

Anyone had a military service person apply for a rento. Have any of you rented to the military? If he appears to be o.k. How would I verified his employment?

Is there anything bad about renting to someone in the military service??? I could see some of the pros. Like he is not there 1/2 the time and helping our service men.

Do they have any special rights??? Scuh as I can't evict them when they are away on duty???

You should post your question in the Q&A section of www.mrlandlord.com and loads of CA landlords will be happy to respond to you.

You can ask for copy of his assignment - to shore or to ship and get copy of this pay stub. Realize that if he is called up for active duty, he can negate your lease under Soldiers Sailors Civil Relief Act
