What is the name of your state? CA

My brand new 2003 GMC 2500HD truck has less then 650 miles on it and was exactly 3 weeks old when a problem with the tranny came about.

what is the protocol for something like this?
I just found out yesterday that they are replacing the tranny.
I am not looking for a new truck, but would like to get something out of this as I had to change all my plans for traveling this coming Friday (7-11-03)
I was to pull a trailer over 400 miles for a wedding that we are part of. my truck would pull this trailer no problem and hold 4 adults as it is a crew cab. now I have to drive a car the dealer paid for, but will not haul this trailer and now we have to pay for a room(s) for the weekend.
any help out there?
how do I go about this?
thanks

The dealer is only obligated to repair your vehicle, he cannot be held liable for any disruption in your plans. There was no negligence by the dealer so you have no claim.
